Core documentation status
The shared technical references for GI, loading screens, and PSO prewarming live under XFSDK Core. Core and standalone GI/SMAA use x_ console variables; Light uses xl_. For shared GI and loading-screen controls, the CVar suffixes are unchanged. Documented behavior and API examples originated in Light; Core-specific project setup and Blueprint/API differences remain TBD.
Which XFSDK product?
- XFSDK Core: Advanced framework for Unreal Engine X.
- XFSDK Light: Supported standard UE5 plugin with shared GI/loading/PSO systems plus its own SMAA and Bend-style screen-space shadows implementations.
- XFSDK Enhanced SMAA: Standalone version of the Light anti-aliasing system.
- XFSDK Hybrid SDF GI: Upcoming standalone product using the shared GI technology. Its technical reference documents the shared implementation; standalone packaging and integration details are not yet established.
